How much rubble fits in my weight limit?
Convert the permitted weight to volume and you have the usable capacity — commonly a fraction of the container's physical size. Working to that figure avoids the surcharge that comes with discovering it at the weighbridge.
Does reinforcement change the weight?
Steel is denser than concrete, so heavily reinforced demolition is heavier per volume than plain. It also complicates crushing and recycling, and some facilities price reinforced arisings differently.
Is it cheaper to crush on site?
On a large enough job, usually yes, because it removes both haulage and disposal cost and produces usable sub-base. On a small job the plant hire and space requirement outweigh the saving.
