Calculators, takeoffs and guides, together
Everything the site has on one material
Each hub starts from the material, not the tool: what its calculators cover, how their answers are worked out, the units and documents of each market, what they leave to others, and then every calculator, whole-job takeoff, worked example, reference table and guide that concerns it, grouped by the job it does.

How a material hub differs from the other ways in
The calculators are also filed by category, which is where each one lives, and by trade, which is who does the work. A material hub is the third view: it follows one product across both, so the rebar that a concreter and a steel fixer both order sits beside the slab it goes in, with the guides, the takeoffs and the reference tables that explain it.
A calculator can belong to more than one hub, and a few belong to none, because a unit conversion or a design check is nobody’s material. Every calculator has been read and placed.
