A sprayed membrane-forming curing compound is much faster to apply than continuous wet burlap or ponding, and works well for large flatwork pours where wet curing is impractical.
When should curing compound be applied?
As soon as bleed water has evaporated and the surface sheen disappears — too early traps bleed water under the film, too late lets the surface dry out and crack before the film forms.
Does curing compound affect a future flooring installation?
