Your business
My Company
What belongs to your business rather than to one job — your letterhead, your clients and suppliers, the figures a new project starts from, your price books, your project templates and the tools you own — set once here and used by every project in this browser.

Your letterhead
Printed at the top of every client proposal. Typed here once; My Project shows it as one line beside the proposal.
Where it goes
At the top of every client proposal: the preview, the printout, the PDF and the Excel file. My Project shows it beside the proposal as one line:
Reading your letterhead…
Kept in this browser’s own database and carried in the site backup — never uploaded.
Open My ProjectClients
Kept once, with their sites and where the bills go. Link a project to a client on My Project, and its proposal is addressed from here.
Your clients
Reading your clients…
What a client is for
The person or business a job is for, kept once: their phone and email as you type them, where the bills go, the sites you work on for them, and your notes. Link a project to them on My Project, beside its client proposal, and the proposal is addressed from here — a billing address corrected here is on the next one.
A project you already have keeps the client typed on it. When that name is one of your clients, My Project offers the link once; nothing is linked or added by itself.
Open My ProjectSuppliers
The merchants and hire shops you use, the trades they cover and your account with them. My Project's supplier quotes pick from this list.
Your suppliers
Reading your suppliers…
What a supplier is for
The merchants, yards and hire shops you buy from, kept once: a phone and an email as you type them, the trades they cover, your account with them, and your notes. A quote on My Project picks its supplier from this list, or adds one in place, and keeps the name as it was typed.
The site keeps no prices of its own here: the account is your reference, as you write it.
Open My ProjectNew project defaults
The figures a new project starts from. A project you already have keeps its own: change those on the project, where every figure stays editable.
Labour
Hours are entered per line on the project; nothing here estimates them for you.
Sales tax applies to
Most jurisdictions tax materials only on a labour-and-materials contract. Confirm against your own rules: the site models no tax code.
Starting figures
Price books
Your prices, the packs you buy in and the rates you pay. A project chooses its book on My Project and is priced from it there.
Your books
None yet. A price book holds what you pay — your supplier, your price, and the pack you actually buy it in. Until a project prices from one, each line carries the price typed on it, or none: this site supplies no prices of its own.
What a book does
Make a book, then choose it on My Project under “Price book — what you actually pay”. Bind a material once and every project priced from the book prices itself from it. Import a supplier’s list as CSV or Excel: the sheet shows every row before anything is written.
Project templates
A job you price again and again, kept to start the next one — on this device, or another through the backup or a template file.
No templates yet
Open a job you price again and again on My Project and use “Save as template” in its project menu. What you tick comes back in every project started from it:
- Lines and their quantities (with zones and alternates)
- Prices on the lines
- Labour hours on the lines
- Notes (the project's and each line's)
- Proposal wording (terms, exclusions, payment stages)
- Settings: markups, tax, labour rate, schedule
Never kept: the client, the site address, the quote number, the start date, a discount and the plan.
Bring one in
A template file exported here, on this device or another, is checked the way an imported project is and added as a copy.
Start a project from one
From the project menu on My Project, or New project on My projects. The new project gets what the template kept, and never the old job’s client, site address, quote number, start date, discount or plan.
Open My projectsTools you own
Ticked once: every job’s tool list then splits into what is in the van and what you still need. The same list as My tools, where each tool says what it is for.
